Ruby and Ed I love you so much and I know I can make it through these days because my daughter Carla Lea Painter Bussard was murdered in Brunswick County NC 9-5-2006 and I will never forget her and she has 3 children. My son Tommy Painter had a horrible wreck and he left me because his sis has been murdered. I lost 2 children and 6 grandchildren because of this horrible crime. Carla Lea was 36 years old.

Thanks, Sarah.

I was grinning like a fool with tears welling up at the same time while the teacher was telling me this story.

Romantic old foole...

UPDATE: The rash seems to be retreating with the Neosporin. So, no doctor's visit this morning. We've got to watch it today and then make a decision about tomorow morning.

Awww Tee! Sounds like a nightmare for you guys over the past week. However, you have a knack for turning a crappy situation into a pretty funny and clever blog post. By the way, my daughter starts 1st grade this year too and my son is also 4.
